1. Shipping Policy
At acoustic workshop, we work hard to ensure your order is processed and shipped as quickly and securely as possible. All orders are packaged with care to protect your equipment during transit.
2. Order Processing
Orders placed before 3:00 p.m. eastern standard time, are typically processed and shipped the same business day. orders placed after that time, or on weekends and holidays, will be shipped the following business day. Shipping and handling terms are fob destination, prepaid, and added to your invoice unless otherwise specified.
FOB stands for “Free On Board.”
It’s a shipping term that tells you who is responsible for the product and shipping costs at each stage of the delivery process, (us the seller) or the customer (the buyer).
There are two main types:

FOB Destination

Means the seller (Acoustic Workshop) owns the goods and is responsible for them until they reach the buyer’s location.

If something happens during transit (damage, loss, etc.), the seller is responsible.

Shipping cost is usually included or added to the invoice as part of the service.

Once the customer receives the item in good condition, ownership officially transfers to them.

FOB Origin

Means ownership and responsibility transfer to the buyer the moment the goods leave the seller’s facility.

The buyer covers the shipping cost and assumes the risk once the product is handed to the carrier (FedEx, UPS, etc.).

This usually applies when the buyer uses their own freight account.

Our standard shipping terms are fob destination, which means acoustic workshop remains responsible for your order until it safely arrives at your location. if you choose to use your own freight account (fedex or ups), the terms become fob origin, meaning ownership and responsibility transfer to you once the shipment leaves our facility.
Shipping and handling costs are calculated at checkout and added to your invoice unless otherwise arranged.
3. Standard Delivery
For standard ground shipping within the continental united states, orders generally arrive within 3 to 5 business days after leaving our facility. A priority shipping option is available for faster delivery times. please note that priority shipping does not include weekend delivery. Delivery times may vary depending on carrier delays, weather, or location.
4. Using Your Own Shipping Account
We also offer the option to ship using your facility’s FedEx or ups account. if you would like to use your own freight account, please include your carrier name and account number in the order notes during checkout or on your purchase order. When using your own freight account, shipping terms will be FOB origin, and ground service will be used by default unless you specify a different service level in the order comments.
5. International Shipping
For orders outside the continental united states, including Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations, please contact us prior to ordering to confirm availability, rates, and delivery timeframes. All international customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees that may apply.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow your package’s progress until it arrives.
7. Damaged or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us within 5 business days of delivery at acousticworkshop25@gmail.com or +1 (518) 401-0345. include your order number and photos of the packaging or items so we can assist quickly.
